ASL cleans 123 GB of aircraft data with EXSYN

The customer, ASL Ireland, faced a challenge with its aircraft data quality during a migration from OASES to AMOS MRO software. Several areas of data required re-assessment and cleansing, including part numbers and service bulletins, which was complicated by the data being produced on an ongoing operational basis. The vendor EXSYN was engaged to provide a data reporting and cleansing service.

EXSYN deployed a dedicated data team to establish a baseline and implement a multifaceted cleansing solution. Their approach included individual assessments, OCR recognition, and robotic process automation (RPA) to process the data. The solution successfully processed 123 GB of data from two source systems across 25 aircraft tails, providing cleaned data that served as critical input for the overall software implementation project.
