Montcalm Royal London House, part of The Montcalm Luxury Hotels, wanted to improve technology and connectivity across its 250-room Finsbury Square property to meet rising guest expectations and handle heavy usage during events. The hotel needed a reliable, superfast internet connection and network that could scale flexibly, and it selected Exponential-e as its preferred supplier.

Exponential-e implemented a WAN across the Montcalm group and delivered 10Gb network capacity on demand for the London hotel, combined with high-bandwidth internet over fibre and secure connectivity compliant with PCI DSS requirements. The result was improved guest experience, more flexible bandwidth allocation, greater support for conferences and other high-intensity events, and the potential to increase revenue; the hotel also became the first in the UK to boast 10Gb capacity up and down, with plans to extend Exponential-e across more properties.
