A Exponential-e Case Study

Havas - Customer Case Study

Havas, a leading communications consulting group with 16 UK sites, was struggling with a complex and inflexible IP VPN setup that required extensive access-control lists, multiple firewalls, and numerous internet service providers to keep business unit traffic separated and secure. Exponential-e was brought in to simplify the architecture and provide a unified WAN while preserving security between Havas’ different business communities.

Exponential-e implemented a multi-site VPLS WAN across all 16 sites using single converged connections, with business units grouped into secure VPLS communities and centrally hosted firewalls and internet connectivity. The result was a simpler, centrally controlled network with automated failover, reduced duplication and cost, and 100% separation between business units, giving Havas a highly sophisticated sixteen-site WAN with improved resilience and control.
