Fidessa, a global financial trading and information services company, needed a more resilient business continuity setup for its web-based services. With major financial institutions depending on its platform, the challenge was to automate fail-over between its primary office in Woking and its London office, something most providers could not support without manual intervention. Exponential-e was chosen for its technical expertise and ability to support the necessary Internet connectivity and IP addressing requirements.

Exponential-e provided temporary PA IP addresses, secured PI IP addresses through RIPE NCC, and configured the network so normal traffic ran through Woking with automatic fail-over to London via static routing and BGP.
