ColasCanada Implements Explorer Software for Transnational View of Its Canadian Operation

ColasCanada, part of the global Colas Group, is a national leader in road construction operating across six provinces with more than 5,000 employees and dozens of sites grown largely through acquisition. That decentralized structure — many subsidiaries, plants, quarries and varied project types — created a need to support local operations while producing consolidated, transnational financial and project visibility.

ColasCanada deployed Explorer Software across 26 installations with about 1,000 users, using nearly a dozen modules (Job Costing, Payroll, GL, Purchasing, Inventory, Equipment Management, Materials Handling, Highway Maintenance, etc.). The integrated system automated processes (including real-time truck scale integration), enabled local job and equipment costing with secure central oversight, streamlined accounting and compliance, and helped the company operate faster and more profitably while focusing on core construction activities.
