Piper Aircraft, a long-established general aviation manufacturer, needed a faster, more reliable way for its global dealer network to access inventory, warranty status, and parts ordering data. Its existing ERP system was slow, hard to customize, and forced manual processes to meet FAA requirements and handle thousands of similar service parts. Piper Aircraft turned to Explore Consulting for help with NetSuite and CloudConnect™ integration.

Explore Consulting designed and implemented a separate NetSuite operating environment integrated with Piper’s Baan ERP system through five CloudConnect™ integration points, plus custom SuiteScript and Suitelet automation. The solution streamlined cross-referenced parts search for more than 90,000 parts, automated inventory and warranty workflows, generated FAA documents, and improved dealer ordering. As a result, Piper Aircraft expects faster parts procurement, quicker warranty resolution, less employee time spent on support, fewer order errors, and lower ongoing IT costs.
