National Football Scouting needed a faster, more reliable way to capture and share the detailed schedules, player data, and event results generated during the NFL Combine, where more than 300 college players are evaluated by all 32 NFL teams. To meet that challenge, National Football Scouting worked with Explore Consulting on the NFL Combine Dashboard, a custom Microsoft Surface app built to deliver real-time information in an easy-to-digest format.

Explore Consulting developed the dashboard with Microsoft so teams could access player bios, schedules, and field-event results instantly on Surface tablets as data was captured. The solution improved turnaround time, enabled better player tracking across workouts, medicals, and interviews, and gave staff immediate comparison data; according to National Football Scouting, the automation also reduced manpower while supporting growth and new initiatives.
