TalentWise, a technology company that automates the hiring process, needed a better way to give department directors visibility into their own financials without exposing other departments’ information. Using Oracle Financials, reporting was handled manually by one person once a month, making budget management slow and outdated. Explore Consulting implemented a custom NetSuite director center with department-specific tabs, detailed financial reports, real-time budget-versus-actual views, and approval portlets. By using group-based permissions and an automated employee dropdown and nightly refresh process, Explore Consulting made access easier to manage while maintaining privacy. The result was faster, real-time financial reporting, elimination of manual departmental report creation, and significantly improved budget management for TalentWise directors.
