University College Absalon - Customer Case Study

University College Absalon, a higher education institution in Zealand, Denmark, needed a new teaching evaluation system to support quality assurance for Danish institutional accreditation. Its existing setup relied on around 1,300 surveys and had become difficult to manage, with a need for more automation, more flexible questions, and a more user-friendly process. The institution selected Explorance and its Blue, The People Insight Platform.

Explorance implemented Blue as a centralized system for twice-yearly end-of-semester evaluations, with a small number of fixed institutional and departmental questions and the ability to compare programmes using the same set of questions. University College Absalon said the system was better received by students and staff, reports were well received by programme leaders, and functionality had improved over the old process. The institution also said Blue created more opportunities for deeper evaluation, better data structure, and stronger support for comparing programmes, first semester experience, and progression.
