RMIT Embarks on the Path to True Improvement with the Help of Blue

RMIT University, Australia’s largest tertiary institution with about 82,000 students, needed reliable and comprehensive student feedback data to support strategic learning and teaching initiatives. The university had been using paper surveys and needed a way to collect feedback across its Melbourne and offshore locations in a consistent, accessible way.

In 2006, RMIT University implemented Blue course evaluations software from Explorance and moved from paper-based surveys to 100% online feedback collection. With Explorance, the university now handles more than 1 million records annually, issues around 4,500 reports every semester, and can generate those reports within 24 hours, while also eliminating the need for over 1 million sheets of scannable paper each year.
