College of the North Atlantic, one of the largest post-secondary educational and skills training centres in Atlantic Canada, needed a better way to manage surveys and feedback as it grew. Its team wanted stronger reporting, improved security, and easier integration with existing systems, but its previous survey software was complicated and sometimes required free online tools to fill the gaps.
Explorance provided Blue surveys software, which integrated with PeopleSoft and allowed the college to keep data in-house. The team went from implementation to its first survey in less than two months, handled more than 30 surveys in one year, and maintained response rates of 63% to 69% on larger college-wide surveys. Explorance also helped the college save days of manual report creation, improve analysis, and plan to extend use of Blue into course evaluations.
