Liverpool John Moores University Amplifies the Power of Module Evaluation Data with Blue

Liverpool John Moores University needed a better way to run module evaluations across large, multi-programme courses and non-standard delivery patterns. Its leaders wanted to see how students from different programmes responded, while also capturing feedback on teaching and learning at scale. The university chose Explorance Blue for its module evaluation process.

With Explorance Blue, Liverpool John Moores University moved from a pilot to institution-wide use across approximately 80,000 evaluations and 2,000 modules. Response rates in the pilot rose from about 30% to over 50%, staff could monitor live response status in real time, and more than 83% of staff at the School of Natural Sciences and Psychology used question personalisation. The university also reported that 84% of staff found the information value and usability of reports excellent or good.
