LAU Saves Time, Money and Paper on Course Evaluations and Surveys

Lebanese American University (LAU), a 7,000-student institution in Beirut and Byblos, Lebanon, needed to replace a slow, costly paper-based process for course evaluations and surveys. Its scanned paper forms took a long time to distribute and process, and instructors often did not receive fall evaluation results until June or July.

LAU implemented Explorance’s Blue 4.0 Course Evaluations to move to a fully paperless system. With Explorance, the university now gets same- or following-day turnaround on results, integrates with Banner and Blackboard, and surveys about 7,500 students, 800 staff and faculty members, and 30,000 alumni, while also reporting better-quality responses and less paper use.
