Kingston University Creates a Culture of Continuous Improvement Supported by Analytics with Blue

Kingston University wanted to redesign its institutional Module Evaluation Questionnaire process so student feedback could be used more effectively and accountability for decision-making could be strengthened. It worked with Explorance and Blue MEQ / Evaluations, Survey Solution to create a more consistent approach across the university.

With Explorance’s Blue platform, Kingston University moved from paper MEQs to an online-only process within 18 months, integrated with its VLE and student information system. Reports are now generated within hours of survey closure, tailored versions are published for staff and students, and 47% of 2018-19 surveys were completed on mobile devices. The university also uses the data in dashboards and annual monitoring plans to support continuous improvement across module and course teams.
