Università della Svizzera italiana, a public university in Lugano, Switzerland, needed a better way to manage course evaluations as it moved from paper surveys to an online process. Its manual approach created heavy administration, required Excel-based reporting, and often delivered results too late in the semester to be useful.

Explorance implemented Blue, The People Insights Platform, after confirming compatibility with USI’s Moodle LMS. The system gave the university automated reporting, easier response tracking, and less manual work for Michele Balmelli and colleagues, while supporting questionnaires in English and Italian. USI said Blue improved the quality of end-of-semester survey responses and supported course and programme modifications based on the feedback.
