Boise State University needed to move from a legacy, homegrown course evaluation system to an enterprise-level solution that could handle the needs of 56 different departments. The university had issues with part-time support, administrative churn, and difficulty scaling custom questions and reports across colleges, departments, and faculty.

Boise State University selected Explorance Blue in 2020 and implemented it in spring 2022, migrating historical data and integrating with Canvas to automate data connections and unify evaluation processes. Explorance Blue brought university-level questions, more consistent data across the institution, improved user experience and reporting, and less administrative stress, while also supporting cross-institutional benchmarking and future plans for midterm evaluations and auto-syncing results with the tenure and promotion system.
