Haigazian University in Beirut was handling course evaluations through manual paper forms and spreadsheet re-entry, a process that was error-prone and consumed valuable staff time. The university wanted a more efficient way to collect course and instructor feedback while also improving student technology literacy, so it evaluated several systems before choosing Blue from Explorance.

Explorance implemented Blue course evaluations software with a customized integration to Haigazian’s Blackboard portal, including a component that would prevent students from viewing grades until they completed evaluations. In a pilot, Haigazian conducted online evaluations in real time for 225+ courses, eliminated most manual form processing, and moved staff into analytical work. The university also reported higher-quality responses and said the rollout was quick, easy, and supported by just two hours of telephone training.
