A strategic approach to student experience with Blue

Universidad Internacional de Valencia (VIU), a private university in Spain with 15,000 students, needed a better way to analyze and respond to student feedback in its exclusively online model. With accrediting agencies emphasizing the need to listen to students, VIU wanted a more effective approach than its previous surveys, which had produced little analysis or follow-up.

Using Explorance Blue, VIU expanded beyond course evaluations to run “12 big moment surveys” across the student journey, including pre-enrolment, the first weeks, internships, and the final degree project. Explorance Blue gave the university automation, flexible survey administration during Covid-19, and reporting across departments and leadership levels, saving time and improving analysis of both quantitative data and qualitative comments.
