The aerostructures subsidiary of a major European aircraft manufacturer faced challenges in meeting delivery schedules and managing its on-time delivery (OTD) performance indicator within a complex supply chain. To better anticipate delays and increase its production rate, the customer called on Expleo to develop a predictive data analysis tool.

Expleo deployed a team of specialists who, over four months, created a machine learning model using Python and the TIBCO Spotfire data visualisation platform. The solution cleansed and merged disparate data sources to successfully predict OTD. As a result, the customer is now fully convinced of the relevance of data-driven tools and benefits from a clear dashboard for optimal performance management and valuable decision-making keys.
