Expleo is providing space engineering design and NewSpace solutions that will bring new capabilities into the Defence market

Expleo partnered with a leading defence market to address the challenge of developing new space technologies that offer improved flexibility, performance, and reliability. The customer needed innovative NewSpace solutions, such as cubesat payloads, to shorten the time from an idea to launch and to provide new capabilities like connectivity in difficult zones.

Expleo assembled a multidisciplinary team of engineers to develop its NewSpace capability, applying knowledge from other industrial sectors to create an Agile Factory approach. This solution significantly reduced development timescales to just months. As a result, Expleo is finalizing the assembly of a payload for a 2023 launch and has three active projects, including a civilian cubesat mission for Djibouti and the development of a generic test bench for fast nanosatellite production.
