Dassault Aviation, a global aerospace leader, faced the challenge of establishing a new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Nagpur, India, as part of an offset agreement for its Rafale fighter jet contract. The key requirement was to develop a robust local supply chain capable of producing high-precision assembly jigs and tools, which required modernizing designs from legacy systems to the latest 3D software.

Expleo provided a comprehensive solution, redesigning and optimizing over 2500 jigs and tools using CATIA V5 and managing the entire process from design to manufacturing. This involved close collaboration between their teams in France and India to ensure precision and compliance. As a result, Expleo enabled the successful production of the first Falcon 2000 fuselage section in India and bolstered Dassault Aviation's local capabilities, supporting the "Make in India" initiative.
