Santander Bank, a major global financial institution, faced the challenge of educating its vast workforce on "Compass," a new internal service design framework. The bank's Service Design team needed a way to convey this complex methodology in a simple, engaging, and time-efficient manner to employees at all levels without conducting extensive individual training. They enlisted the vendor ExplainVisually to create an explainer video to address this need.

ExplainVisually developed a concise 2D animation through a collaborative process involving an online workshop, scriptwriting, and storyboarding. The final three-minute video used visual metaphors to effectively explain the Compass framework. The solution successfully relieved the Service Design team from constant explanations and the animation was widely deployed on the bank's intranet and in online trainings.
