Faith Christian School - Customer Case Study

Faith Christian School, a K–12 school in Lafayette, Indiana serving a student body of over 600, needed a way to capture lessons and keep students engaged when they were absent or learning remotely — a need that became urgent during the Spring 2020 COVID-19 shutdown. Teachers, led in part by Middle School Principal Nicole Hume, adopted Explain Everything to record lessons, import PowerPoint/Google Slides as PDFs, annotate on an infinite canvas, and create reusable instructional videos and answer keys.

Explain Everything enabled teachers to record synchronous and asynchronous lessons, annotate demonstrations and problem work, and share videos via the school LMS or import them into Edpuzzle for added engagement. As a result, absent students (including those with chronic illnesses) retained access to classroom instruction, teachers established a daily habit of posting recorded lessons, and the school expanded its capacity for targeted student support — all achieved using Explain Everything.
