Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS), the nation’s largest mentoring network with 360 agencies and hundreds of thousands of children, volunteers and staff, needed a modern, easy-to-use learning platform to replace a legacy LMS. Their goals were to extend training beyond employees to volunteers, families and youth, centralize courses and best practices, automate tracking for match-related requirements, and scale from small pilots to a target of 630,000 learners.

ExpertusONE delivered a cloud-based, unified learning environment (branded as Impact U) with 300+ courses, blended delivery, social and mobile tools, multiple branded interfaces and automated tracking. Implementation included data migration and a broad adoption campaign. In a pilot with 7,000+ users across 90 agencies, the platform is predicted to affect 250,000 children’s relationships; learners reported an average 84% improvement in training readiness and more than 80% said they felt better prepared for mentoring, while BBBS gained easier access, measurement and time/resource savings.
