Walmart India, one of the world’s largest private employers, needed a way to streamline high-volume hiring across pan-India operations. The company wanted a first-level filter for candidates and a multilingual pre-employment testing system that could handle up to 10,000 tests per day, support both off-location and on-location hiring, and help manage recruitment schedules and job openings more efficiently. ExpertRating provided the testing platform and related assessment services.

ExpertRating built a tailored SaaS-based solution for Walmart, using the ExpertRating Exam Browser with LiveProctor for off-location tests and Any Browser testing for on-site assessments. The system enabled secure, proctored testing, multi-tier administration, and candidate testing in native Indian languages, while allowing Walmart to control question banks and test management internally. As a result, manual shortlisting effort was reduced to a minimum, Walmart could evaluate thousands of candidates daily, and HR teams in India and the US gained better oversight of the hiring process.
