Expero worked with Drilling Consulting Firm, which needed a way to make predictive analytics for directional drilling easier to understand and use. Their existing tools were aimed at conventional vertical wells and struggled to combine regional geology, logging-while-drilling data, and predictive insights for deviated and horizontal boreholes, especially in bandwidth-constrained drilling-site environments.

Expero designed the user experience for the analytics package and helped create a browser-based interface using React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The solution co-visualized complex subsurface data for drilling engineers, directional drillers, geosteerers, and geologists, and was delivered in three months for UX design and five months to production, giving the client a technically feasible, real-time, easier-to-use product.
