Tyler Technologies, a Plano, TX–based provider of integrated software and services for the public sector with more than 27,000 installations across 11,000 sites, needed to centralize and optimize quoting across 69 regional offices. Their challenge was finding a CPQ that could handle very large, complex quote files in real time, reduce IT dependence for modeling, and be easy and flexible enough for sales teams to use and maintain.
They implemented Experlogix CPQ on Dynamics 365 Sales, leveraging an Excel-like backend that lets nontechnical administrators model quotes. The solution sped up and simplified quote generation, improved accuracy and maintainability, reduced errors and training time, and enabled customizable setups to meet the differing needs of Tyler’s regional sales teams.
