EPB is a municipally owned utility in Chattanooga serving more than 170,000 residential and commercial customers with electric power and Fi connectivity services. Despite decades of success, EPB struggled with complex, spreadsheet-based quoting and commission processes—especially for multi-location business customers—making quotes time-consuming, error-prone, and difficult to automate.
By implementing Experlogix CPQ integrated with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales and their legacy ERP, EPB automated quoting models, rate-card management, commissions, discounts and runtime billing queries while enabling dynamic product assignment. The change slashed quote times from hours to minutes, removed manual decision-making, improved quote accuracy and sales workflows, and gave reps more time selling—with strong ongoing support from Experlogix.
