Husky, one of the world’s largest suppliers of injection molding equipment, was struggling with increasingly complex quote and order processes across five business units and more than 100 countries. By 2010, the company was using seven standalone systems to create quotes, making it difficult to keep pricing and product data current, unify outputs, and give management visibility into global quoting activity. Experlogix Configurator, used with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, was selected to help solve these challenges.

Experlogix implemented a single, model-based global pricing and quoting platform with centrally managed rules, components, and pricing accessible directly in Dynamics CRM. The result was consistent, accurate quotes worldwide, better management visibility, more than 100% ROI, and adoption that more than doubled to support over 1,000 users across multiple departments. Husky also reported thousands of dollars in unnecessary costs saved and expects further gains from improved forecasting, inventory, and operational efficiency.
