Evatec Streamlines Complex Sales Processes for High-Tech Manufacturing

Evatec, a Swiss maker of precision thin‑film coating machines for industries from semiconductors to autonomous driving and AR, faced growing complexity as it scaled from 10 to about 600 employees. Sales relied on spreadsheets and manual processes that slowed quoting, increased errors, made onboarding difficult, and couldn’t handle multiple product lines, regional variations, service add-ons or forecasting needs for procurement and supply chain.

Working with Experlogix, Evatec implemented Experlogix CPQ within Microsoft Dynamics 365, starting with a focused rollout to model configuration and pricing rules for key product lines using the Design Center. The system adds guided configuration, real‑time product visualizations, CRM‑saved quotes and cleaner data for forecasting—resulting in faster, more accurate quotes, a consistent scalable sales process, easier onboarding and improved supplier planning and service offerings.
