Construction Equipment Dealer Automates Heavy Equipment Quoting

Strongco is a major Canadian multi-line heavy equipment dealer with more than 600 employees across 27 branches that sells, rents and services construction and industrial equipment. Sales teams were relying on manual Excel quotes and inconsistent supplier price communications, which led to pricing errors, poor pipeline visibility and difficulty tracking machine warranties — driving the need for an integrated CRM and quoting configurator.

Strongco implemented Microsoft Dynamics CRM with the Experlogix Configurator to centralize product models, rules and vendor pricing (including imported Volvo data), support multi-currency and enable offline quoting. The integrated system replaced spreadsheets, pushed consistent updates to field staff, synchronized offline quotes back to CRM, reduced quoting errors and improved warranty tracking while giving management clear, up-to-date sales pipeline visibility.
