A Experity Case Study
Zip Clinic Urgent Care, a multi-state urgent care group founded in 2012 and now operating eight clinics across CO, KY and MT, needed to deliver high-quality care while increasing operational efficiency as patient demand and expectations evolved. As a long-time customer of Experity, Zip Clinic leaned on Experity’s built-for-urgent-care operating system — including its EMR/PM, electronic registration and telemedicine — to meet the twin challenges of speed and safety without sacrificing patient experience.
Using Experity’s EMR/PM, telemedicine, electronic registration, concurrent charting and teleradiology, Zip Clinic dramatically increased throughput and accuracy: the clinics now routinely see 60–70 patients per day (with peaks up to 150), concurrent charting saves about 5–10 minutes per patient, electronic registration cuts triage time from 15–20 minutes to roughly five, and insurance can be verified in under a minute. Those improvements from Experity boosted patient throughput and satisfaction, reduced staff fatigue, and helped Zip Clinic scale during the COVID-19 surge while maintaining care quality.
