Expands Clinic Locations with DocuTAP EMR and RCM Services

Integra Urgent Care, a family-owned urgent care group with three locations in the Dallas–Fort Worth area serving 50–100 patients per day, faced mounting paper charts and an unhealthy revenue cycle after growth. To modernize records and billing they adopted Experity’s DocuTAP platform (EMR, Practice Management and later DocuTAP RCM), having switched from paper charts in 2010 and moved billing in-house before upgrading to Experity’s RCM to address a six-week, ~$1M backlog and slow claim processing.

Experity implemented the full DocuTAP solution—EMR/PM to eliminate paper and streamline workflows and DocuTAP RCM to fix billing processes—and delivered rapid, measurable wins. Paper charts were effectively eliminated, charting time is now about 4–6 minutes with a 45-minute door‑to‑door visit time, and 40–50% of patients use online check‑in. With Experity RCM Integra cleared the backlog in weeks, reduced unsubmitted claims from 22% to 2%, now receives 70% of claim payments in 2–3 weeks, cut days‑to‑bill from ~40 to 2, and achieved a 25% increase in monthly collections—enabling confident expansion to new clinic locations.
