WellFast Urgent Care, founded by two ER physicians in 2006, needed to move from paper records to an electronic system to support rapid growth, expanded service lines, and complex occupational medicine (OccMed) workflows. After evaluating vendors, WellFast selected Experity (formerly Practice Velocity) for its purpose-built Electronic Medical Records and Practice Management solution, plus integrated services like teleradiology, revenue cycle management, and billing.

Experity implemented a connected EMR/PM platform that linked visit documentation, claims, teleradiology, and OccMed communications into a single operating system. The transition was smooth, delivering measurable time savings (electronic registration returns results in one to two minutes), eliminating disparate systems, and enabling employers to receive medical records and work-status notes immediately after chart sign-off. Experity’s solution improved operational efficiency, boosted customer satisfaction for OccMed clients, and has supported a growing, 10+-year relationship with WellFast.
