Benefis Health System makes access convenient with online scheduling

Benefis Health System, the largest health system in north central Montana, wanted to improve its digital presence and make it easier for patients to access care online. Before the project, patients had to call the office to schedule appointments, often dealing with voicemail or hold times instead of immediate booking. To solve this, Benefis Health System partnered with Experian Health and used Patient Schedule, a white-labeled online scheduling solution.

With Experian Health’s Patient Schedule, Benefis Health System enabled real-time self-scheduling on its website, guiding patients to the right provider and appointment type. The results were strong: 50% of patients booked after hours, 52% of patients at one urgent care center scheduled online, and 23.6% of users who started the process converted to booked appointments. Experian Health also gave the health system analytics to improve the scheduling flow and boost conversion over time.
