The health system was struggling with delayed eligibility and insurance verification, inaccurate upfront patient estimates, and high denials and low collections, all made worse by a manual, non-integrated workflow.
Experian Health implemented an integrated suite that included eCare NEXT®, Patient Estimates, Patient Self Service, Patient Statements, Payer Alerts, PaymentSafe®, Registration QA, and patient financial clearance tools. The result was an 80%+ increase in point-of-service collections, a jump in clean claim rate from 63% to 90%, a 27% drop in denials, and a 28-day reduction in gross A/R, along with better real-time error alerts and stronger reporting visibility.
