How HPC uses Expensify's Xero integration to make their clients’ expense reporting process easier than ever

HPC is an accounting firm that builds its practice around cloud-based automation to eliminate manual, error-prone processes. One of their clients, Mobius Medical Systems, struggled with missing and disorganized expense data and late submissions under a manual system, so HPC set out to find a modern expense solution that would streamline reporting and free clients to focus on core work.

HPC implemented Expensify with real-time Xero integration—using features like SmartScan, mobile reporting, corporate card reconciliation, and categorization rules—to automate expense workflows. After a successful trial and Expensify Silver approval, the change saved roughly 40–50 hours a month overall (about 10–12 hours for admins and ~1 hour per employee), improving accuracy and efficiency.
