SOS Technology Group Adopts Expedient Enterprise Cloud to Elevate its Business

SOS Technology Group, a Baltimore-based managed services provider serving more than 300 SMB and mid-market clients in healthcare and financial services, needed to pivot from shrinking-margin hardware sales to a service-oriented model. The company faced challenges delivering highly available, compliant infrastructure and centralized management for dispersed client servers; SOS evaluated cloud options and selected Expedient’s Expedient Enterprise Cloud (EEC) as the vendor/product that best matched its reliability, security, and predictable-cost requirements.

Expedient implemented EEC, giving SOS a single-pane-of-glass management dashboard, centralized user and security policy controls, and 24x7x365 Operations Support Center access. As a result, SOS has migrated about 60 clients to EEC (with 30 more planned), drastically reduced servers under management while streamlining administration for more than 5,000 client users, enabled on-demand scaling and client onboarding in hours, and gained predictable monthly costs and guaranteed uptime through Expedient.
