Homes.com Goes All In on the Enterprise Cloud, Reducing Costs and Increasing Speed to Market with Infrastructure Migration to Expedient Enterprise Cloud

Homes.com, a high-traffic online real estate portal with about 120 million monthly page views, three million active listings and roughly 2.6 billion images, faced an aging on‑premises IT environment that was costly to run and struggling to meet performance, scalability and SLA requirements. To modernize quickly and avoid building a private cloud in‑house, Homes.com engaged Expedient and adopted the Expedient Enterprise Cloud (EEC) powered by VMware Cloud.

Expedient migrated and consolidated Homes.com’s business‑critical applications onto EEC using VMware SDDC technologies (vSphere, vSAN, NSX), vCloud Director and EEC’s Container Services Extension for Kubernetes, plus managed services like Push Button DR and managed backups.
