Dublin City Schools Relies on Expedient Enterprise Cloud to Deliver World-Class Education

Dublin City School District, which serves roughly 16,500 students across 19 schools, faced challenges with aging on‑premises infrastructure, insufficient redundancy, and the heavy operational burden of running its own data center. Seeking higher availability, stronger security, and to free IT staff for strategic academic initiatives, the district issued an RFP and selected Expedient and its Expedient Enterprise Cloud (EEC) along with colocation, DRaaS, managed backups, and unified threat management.

Expedient migrated the district from legacy on‑prem systems to EEC just weeks before the 2019–20 school year, delivering a 100% SLA, improved performance and reduced latency via Dublink peering, easier remote access to security cameras, stronger disaster recovery and security, scalable capacity without new hardware, and clearer monthly TCO — enabling Dublin City School District’s IT team to focus on teaching and learning.
