Raunstrup, a large construction and joinery company, faced a significant operational challenge as the high volume of smaller service tasks overwhelmed its paper-based workflow. The process of manually recording time and materials on forms, which then required multiple approvals and manual data entry into their ERP system, was too slow and cumbersome. To address this, they partnered with vendor ExpandIT to find a digital solution.

ExpandIT implemented a two-part solution consisting of Service Management and Time, enabling carpenters to log jobs via tablets or phones. This digitization streamlined case management and planning, allowing for real-time updates, photo documentation, and communication. The solution significantly reduced the time spent creating cases and processing data, and it provided Raunstrup with an overarching view of all tasks and personnel, which was critical for planning their expanding service department.
