Renault Group, a global leader in the automotive industry, faced significant inefficiencies in its European spare parts logistics, including a fragmented distribution system and outdated warehouse technology. To centralize its operations and improve service quality, Renault partnered with Exotec to implement the Skypod system as the core of its modernized Villeroy distribution center.

Exotec integrated its Skypod automated storage and retrieval system with additional automation to create an end-to-end solution. This implementation slashed order processing time from 120 minutes to just 15 minutes, enabled the picking of over 5,000 lines per hour, and achieved a customer satisfaction rate exceeding 99.7%, all within a highly compact warehouse footprint.
