The French State Pensions program is modernizing its website for five million agents

The State Pensions Service (SRE) needed to modernize its public website for five million beneficiaries while bringing maintenance back in-house and meeting strict accessibility, security (DGFIP and Prime Minister services) and mobile requirements. The SRE selected eXo Platform, building on prior PETREL portal experience and the eXo content-management and enterprise-portal capabilities to give editors a familiar, user-friendly interface.

eXo Platform delivered a responsive site within months by combining custom applications, personalized web services and eXo components. The site passed rigorous load testing, recorded peak usage of several thousand concurrent users in the first month, enabled interactive functions (address changes, pension estimators), and let SRE operate and extend the service internally; SRE teams also gained skills for future features such as a military retirement simulator.
