The City of Rumilly, together with the Rumilly Terre de Savoie community, needed to streamline internal communication, enable cross‑functional collaboration and centralize document management into a single, secure on‑premise tool. Facing roughly 400 users (about 350 employees and 85 elected officials) across 17 municipalities, the City of Rumilly chose eXo Platform for its open‑source, ergonomic, configurable and public‑sector‑trusted digital workplace.

eXo Platform delivered a secure digital workplace with task and document management, newsfeeds, notes, chat, video conferencing and collaborative review/archiving workflows, while training a multidisciplinary pilot team to configure representative spaces and drive adoption. The solution centralized documents and project spaces for ~400 users, accelerated cross‑functional work, and set a clear rollout to all employees at the start of the next academic year, with eXo Platform continuing ongoing support and evolving features (including a new “Process” capability initiated by Rumilly).
