S2e Builds a Web Portal to Manage Shared Employee Savings Plans for 3 Million Employees

S2E, created in 2006 and serving nearly 3 million employees across about 80,000 companies, faced obsolete, costly web portals tied to a Siebel-based back office that were incompatible with modern browsers and slow to update. To modernize and scale its employee savings portals, S2E selected eXo Platform for a flexible, multi-tenant content and portal solution.

Using eXo Platform, S2E rebuilt the Web‑Salariés system (launched 2013) as personalized, multi-tenant portals with shared software, flexible content publishing, a rules engine for campaigns, and redundant architecture for high availability. The eXo Platform implementation restored S2E’s control and autonomy, enabled more frequent updates, and now supports management of savings for 3 million employees across 80,000 companies (including half of the CAC 40), while providing a roadmap for responsive design, Siebel upgrades and further UX improvements.
