Ressourcial embraces collaborative work in medico-social sector

Ressourcial, an alliance of three French medico-social non-profits (APF, ADAPT and OVE), was struggling with unmanageable email volumes—some staff received 100–300 emails a day—and needed new ways to exchange information and pool resources. After evaluating enterprise social networks, Ressourcial selected eXo Platform’s open-source collaborative solution to replace heavy messaging and support shared tools and decision-making.

eXo Platform implemented a flexible, extensible enterprise social network with collaborative spaces and provided consultant-led training, enabling a rapid three-month rollout. The vendor’s solution drove broad adoption—1,500 users and about 200 daily users after one year—helped activate volunteer communities, reduced reliance on email, and led Ressourcial to renew its subscription.
