Proximity support to replace teams with a Sovereign and user-friendly collaborative Platform

Occitanie Region needed to replace Microsoft Teams and other Office 365 tools with a sovereign, modern and user‑friendly collaboration platform to reduce dependence on U.S. providers and comply with SecNumCloud hosting requirements. To serve roughly 4,000 employees and about 100 external users, the Region selected eXo Platform for its open‑source, interoperable collaborative solution.

eXo Platform implemented a phased migration (March–June) that transferred Teams data, structured collaborative spaces and delivered training materials and webinars; 180 collaborative space managers were trained and over a hundred spaces have been created to date. eXo Platform’s solution enabled unified access to information, improved cross‑functional collaboration, prepared training for all 4,000 employees, and positioned the Region for future integrations while reducing reliance on Microsoft.
