Case Study: Vivalto Santé achieves improved communication and collaboration with eXo Platform

Leading provider of private hospital services in western France transforms its employee portal into an enterprise social network

Vivalto Santé, a leading private hospital services provider in France with 27 facilities and about 5,350 employees, faced an aging intranet, disconnected establishments and time-consuming information searches. To align and engage its dispersed workforce, Vivalto Santé chose eXo Platform to provide a modern digital workplace centered on an enterprise social network and knowledge-management capabilities.

eXo Platform used an agile, user-centered rollout (MVP co-construction), launching the platform to 300 pilot users before a planned expansion to 6,000 employees across 25 sites from January 2019. The eXo Platform solution—branded “Vivacité”—added searchable directories, collaborative spaces, task management and mobile access, improving top-down, cross-departmental and peer-to-peer communication and beginning to increase employee engagement and sense of belonging.
