Interarts participates in the creation of a social platform

Interarts needed a centralized communication and collaboration hub for the NETCHER project to connect scattered initiatives working to protect cultural heritage and combat illicit trade. They engaged eXo Platform to provide an all‑in‑one social platform and a dedicated instance that would let consortium members access, share and store knowledge, collaborate on projects, and communicate in real time.

eXo Platform delivered a dedicated NETCHER instance (launched September 2019 for an initial ~100 users) featuring chat, a built‑in document library with real‑time co‑editing, and secure collaborative spaces. The platform was widely adopted by stakeholders, connected teams, streamlined meetings and task assignments, reduced time spent locating information, and the project team plans to expand user numbers—showing clear improvements in collaboration and knowledge management.
