eXo Platform Powers Collaboration Between Public & Private Institutions in Oman

Oman Business Forum (OBF), a Sharaka initiative to foster public–private collaboration and a knowledge base for senior public and private sector leaders and Fellows, needed a holistic, easy-to-use collaboration and social networking solution to enable dialogue, joint action and information sharing. OBF chose eXo Platform’s enterprise digital workplace for its set of collaborative features—forums, chat, user profiles, task management and unified search—to connect stakeholders across institutions.

eXo Platform, deployed with local partner olive e-solution, delivered a cloud-based digital workplace that created collaborative spaces, task tracking and real-time engagement tools; the platform targets 500 members and is used daily by a large portion of users, progressively improving communication and collaboration between public and private parties. OBF is now monitoring usage and engagement to plan future phases, and the positive initial feedback has opened new regional opportunities for eXo Platform.
